The TESS58 was developed in 2003. By increasing the draft of the TESS52,
the load capacity was increased to 58,100 tons without increasing the overall length or width,
thus achieving a considerable improvement in economic efficiency.
Environmental features include the use of advanced electric equipment
on the deck to avoid the danger of oil leaks from hydraulic equipment.
The size of the ship body allows easy entry into major ports around the world,
and it is popular as the largest Handymax bulk carrier in the world.
